LAURA FELLOWS, IBCLC

“I genuinely love helping people.

It is a strong motivator for me.”

My journey into the Lactation World began in 2011 with the birth of my first child. Like so many nursing dyads, we faced multiple barriers to breastfeeding, including premature birth and mother-infant separation. It was with the support of our skilled and compassionate lactation team that we prevailed and eventually met our breastfeeding goals.

Over time, I realized that our nursing relationship provided so much more than nutrition for my baby. It was slowly healing the wounds of a traumatic pregnancy and birth. And that was when I knew it was time to return to school to help others.

I genuinely love helping people. It is a strong motivator for me. Working with young families and helping parents to feel empowered during such a special time in their lives will always feel like a privilege to me.
